18 J U LY / AU G U S T 2 0 1 8 The new Reclaimed feature in the Chart tab of Tigo's monitoring portal shows total energy (in gray) and Reclaimed energy with Tigo's TS4 (in green) by year, month, day, hour or minute. T igo customers with monitored PV systems now have access to Reclaimed, a calculation of energy recovered by Tigo's TS4 optimizers. Reclaimed is the amount of extra kilowatt hours that a PV system with TS4 has harvested. This energy would have otherwise been lost to mismatch effects due to shading or degradation. Reclaimed is now displayed in addi- tion to the total energy on customers' online monitoring portals. "The new Reclaimed feature proves the benefits of optimized solar," says Zvi Alon, CEO of Tigo. "We want our customers to actually see their return on investment and feel proud of the cost- effective decision they made with Tigo." To accurately display recovered energy due to mismatch mitiga- tion, Reclaimed requires the following three conditions: 1. A PV system with Tigo's Cloud Connect Advance (CCA) and Gateway 2. A Tigo TS4-M/TS4-R-M or greater on every module 3. At least one TS4-O/TS4-R-O (Optimization) or greater deployed on every MPPT Reclaimed confirms the returns on investment for customers who optimize their PV systems. This data can be used to calcu- late the ROI on the cost of a customer's PV system versus the cost of Tigo equipment plus electricity bills. The energy gain over time from Tigo will help customers reach their financial goals faster and feel proud of the cost-effective decision they made with Tigo.
